Inquiry About Contributing a Translation for Creality Print Software #73

Hello,

I’m reaching out because I’m interested in contributing a Turkish translation to the Creality Print Software. I believe that making the software available in Turkish would not only enhance the experience for Turkish-speaking users but could also set a precedent for expanding the software’s reach to other languages as well.

Given the global community of 3D printing enthusiasts, having an open translation file or a system in place for community-contributed translations could significantly increase the software's accessibility. Here are a few questions and suggestions I have regarding this process:

  1. Is there currently a way for the community to contribute translations? If so, could you please guide me through the process or point me towards any relevant documentation?

  2. What tools or formats are used for managing translations (e.g., PO files, specific platforms)? Having a consistent tool or format could simplify contributions from various languages.

  3. Would it be possible to set up a system for community translations, such as an open translation file in the repository, where contributors can submit translations for different languages, including Turkish?

  4. Are there any guidelines, style guides, or requirements for translations? To ensure quality and consistency, it would be helpful to know if there are specific standards to follow.

I’m eager to contribute and collaborate with the Creality team and the wider community to make Creality Print Software even more accessible. Please let me know how I can assist further or start this process.

Thank you for considering this proposal. I look forward to your feedback.
