I recently upgraded to the latest firmware found on the Creality website:
Ender-3 S1_Pro_JPN KR_HWv24S1_301_SWV2.0.8.28F4_F401_FDM_LASER
I am using Cura 5.6.0 but also tested with Cura 5.5.0.
I updated both the screen as well as the mainboard firmware. I used my usual Cura profile to run a test print, just to make sure everything is fine, and everything turned out great. But I noticed that after the firmware upgrade, all prints will always be full speed, no matter the speed and accaleration settings I provide in Cura. Before the upgrade the printer would adhere to the settings provided in Cura.
I did perform a full reinstall of Cura, as well as created new profiles from scratch using the Ender 3 S1 Pro machine provided in Cura.
Happy to perform some tests or provide additional information.
