Thank you, yours was a, "Well done review". I agree. And yes, I provided the big picture. I love your question, "Does being on the platform count as participating?"
Users Shall click on component that allows advertising onto their app. The interaction with those SHALL provide revenues that are credited to their interactions with the adds.
A component SHALL provide statistics on the amounts they've contributed, through the use of Jamming Music App initially, and later through our Jamming suite of tools. The ideas you presented are exactly the kind of ideas I expect as our team explores WOSPIFY's integration with JAMMING.
Interesting concept. It seems like you have an idea for a larger platform that incorporates Jammming. With large goals for your platform, flesh out your detailed technical design more. There are a lot of questions to answer to make your goals happen.
For example, how do you want your users to follow, support, contribute, and participate in your World-Wide Open Social Planetary Involvement Fix-it You (WOSPIFY) platform. In terms of follow, would you users be able to follow anyone or would they have to have some previous connection before following? For support, what kind of support is available? How are users able to support? Is it through sharing information? Donating time? Donating money? Donating supplies? As for contributing, what are your users contributing? How are they contributing? Is it contributing to a certain person, place, event, organization, etc ...? And lastly, how do your users participate? Does being on the platform count as participating?
Try going back an figuring out your users' interactions on your platform and then writing out the how in the technical design plan. You want to be clear here. When chatting about Advertising APIs, provide links to the documentation. Mention how you will incorporate the APIs in your platform. Describe new components you will create or have to update. As for users supporting/contributing/ etc.. what kind of database would you use to keep these interactions? What routes will you need to have in your API? Will you need forms? Where would you get the content?
There are a lot of questions to answer when building a platform. It is great having an image of the large picture, but be more clear with the technical details. It may be helpful to start off focusing on one technical feature to dive deep into thinking about the details.
Good luck building your platform. Happy coding!
