I'm excited to present the brand new graphical editor for PEmbroider! 1d18f4eafcd55c98cd65dbca5dcc4c39d00025e7
See GIF's:
Features
Supports freehand drawing, click-click-click polygons, text, painting. A vector representation of these elements are also stored, so they can be edited after they're placed, kinda like illustrator's edit path tool.
Supports layers. Layers can be either occluded by layers above or not.
Supports some basic settings from the library (e.g. hatchMode, strokeWeight, etc.) but not all. More advanced settings can be conveniently added in the code in defaultSettings() section at the top of the file.
Save the output to disk. (Sometimes the file dialog doesn't pop up, seems like a Java/Swing bug)
It now lives in examples/PEmbroider_Editor. Hope you find it fun! (It's pretty basic right now since I've only worked on it for one night, please let me know if you think it will be worthwhile to add more features to it, thanks!)
It's absolutely terrific, @LingDong- . Bonkers, really. Thank you.
I think it's important that the tool not get overcomplicated. It's someone else's job to make a full-featured editor.
