Try using Oculus 1.7.0 and Embeddium 0.3.28... I always have issues with Optifine and Flywheel so try using those versions instead. Plus you should avoid using Optifine at all these days.
flywheel disables itself with shaders
Describe the Bug
When I play the game normally, I experience an average framerate at around 70 FPS. However, when I looking at multiple moving conraptions (trains, waterwheels, windmills), FPS drops to 15-20. Tried it with different shaders (Complementary Reimagined, BSL), got simmilar results. I heard that shaders disables Flywheel and seen a solution for Oculus\Iris. I am using OpriFine instead and game crashes when i am using oculus instead.
Reproduction Steps
1.Start a minecraft world using any shaders
...
Expected Result
