This actually surprised me a lot when I realized it was absent, but there's no way to store/release rotational force, for instance to make a cucco-clock underground without needing to connect a shaft from the surface or connect an engine or whatever.
In real life, this is usually done by compressing a spring, which then would slowly decompress and move the mechanics in the clock. I admittedly don't think this would be good if it could store TORQUE, because that would obviously break a lot of the mod's design philosophy, but it would be nice to store a low level of movement to run my clocks on :)
