Freeze #109

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open program
2. Past code
3. /Fail freeze. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Only shows a faded blue "i want to download"
Can move the window around and miminize it, but that it is. Nothing is 
happening.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
the newest you got.

Please provide any additional information below.

Same problem on Windows 8 Consumer preview 64 bits

r98 adds more logging to track down this issue.  Seems that the tkinter gui is 
not updating when it should (mainloop not recognising pack() signals).

Fix: exit photograbber and try again.  Sorry - not the best solution but the 
problem seems intermittent and will 'fix itself' if photograbber is restarted 
enough.
