Public Signage symbols list

In 2006, Andreas Stötzner submitted a preliminary proposal to encode pictographs from public signage in Unicode. Some, but not all, of it was then included as part of unification with the original emoji proposal. Many proposed characters ended up in the Transport and Map Symbols block U+1F680–FF.
