Based on my feedback in #44, I decided to have a go at turning my hacky local implementation into a pull request that properly makes it a setting. Maybe this is helpful and a welcome addition to the module.

Looks great, I will merge this into dev as I want to slightly change some of the localization wording, but other than that it looks really good. Thanks!
