Nandito na ba lahat?

Hello, guys!

CristineTerante commented 2 years ago

About pala sa video natin, mag-aassign na lang siguro tayo if sino ang mag-explain, ano?

stephencarl commented 2 years ago

Hello everyone! Good evening. So I just finished creating the script for our video presentation and I would like everyone to self assign themselves to which part of the script that one would want to take, in order to have the best output and most efficient/comfortable way to each of you.

CristineTerante commented 2 years ago

okay po

stephencarl commented 2 years ago

Post ko maya maya yung script natin.

CristineTerante commented 2 years ago

Si Jehardy pala, wala ngayon kasi di pa bumabalik 'yong kuryente sa kanila.

stephencarl commented 2 years ago

Ahh, I see. I understand his situation. Don't worry, may time pa tayo ((:

So guys, ito na po yung script natin for our video, and may I request na i check niyo rin mga grammatical errors and other stuffs? Salamat ng marami!

Introduction: I am “name of the person who will do the introduction”, an Electrical Engineering freshman, and I am here to explain certain functions of our group’s stopwatch. So, as we all know, a stopwatch is a very useful tool in various tasks and is widely used in certain activities such as physical exercises, race events, and other things related to it due to its capability to determine time length while having an access of stopping it whenever the user wants to. Some stopwatches have the capability to record data and have ‘lap’ function (which our stopwatch has) in which is very useful too.

Hi! I am “second person’s name” and I am here to explain our stopwatch’s functions of these particular buttons: The start button, the stop button, and the reset button.

The first button of our stopwatch is the start. So this start button is commonly seen on any stopwatches and this function starts the timer, obviously. This start function can be used after resetting the timer’s value to zero or even after when the timer gets paused. So basically, this start function can be used on different timer references, and not only on the zero or default time.

The second button of our stopwatch is its core essence, the stop button. Without the stop button, there will be no stopwatch. And this button’s function is obviously to stop the running timer, without resetting the default timer or turning it back into zero. It is also plausible to call it a pause button because the time that the timer stops when the button is pressed, is fixed to a certain point of time.

The third button is the reset. This reset button aims to rewind the time back to zero (including the milliseconds). Whenever the time is running and then the user presses the reset button, it will automatically go back to zero and stops the timer. It’s like having the reset and stop function simultaneously, and it is an advantage to the any users in most cases.

Hi! I am “third person’s name” and I am here to explain our stopwatch’s functions of these particular buttons: The lap and the clear button.

The fourth button is the lap. This lap button has the ability to record the projection of each appointed time and saves it onto the listbox, and that is very useful, especially on racing activities where laps are essentially recorded.

And for the last button, it is the clear button. So this clear button is a very useful function, because it clears the recorded laps inside the listbox or within lap record if the user doesn’t want it to be shown anymore. So technically, this clear button is fixed on clearing a single line record within the first line, so, it will literally delete or clear the single line at the top and needs to be pressed multiple times or depending to how many lines there are, in order to clear all the recorded laps within the box.

And since our stopwatch is not an executable file, it is presumably fine that an exit button is not needed, and tkinter also has a default exit where the user can kill the process automatically upon pressing the "x" button located at the top right of the stopwatch.

And these are all the functions of our stopwatch!

Wow, since wala naman lahat at gabi na rin, pag-usapan na lang natin 'to bukas

CristineTerante commented 2 years ago

Thank you po

stephencarl commented 2 years ago

Nag pm din pala si Michael, wala rin daw siya ngayon sa kanilang bahay at nahihirapan siya sa internet access sa lugar niya currently, kaya hindi siya makakasali ngayon na discussion.

PetteAndrei commented 2 years ago

Hello guys, sorry ngayon lang ako nakapag online. Btw, ang ganda ng script natin. Thank you po, leader!

PetteAndrei commented 2 years ago

Suggest ko lang po sa ating script, hindi na po mag state ng name natin para hindi maglampas ng 2 minutes ang video. Comment lang po if agree kayo.

CristineTerante commented 2 years ago

Nice idea, we only have a limited time for video presentation? However, I will make an effort to include our identities in the video, but not during the stopwatch's demonstration. Is it okay?

MichaelSantillan commented 2 years ago

Good evening sa ating lahat. Pasensya lang po ngayon lang ako nakaonline dahil sa internet namin parating gawala wala. nagawa ko na ang video part ko para sa video natin na gagawin.
