I also have this problem. I thought it was just me. As soon as the API is restricted, nothing is displayed here. Thank you.

This is a real problem, it makes the feature unusable unless you take the risk of using an unsecured API key. If that gets stolen then they could run up a bill for thousands of ££ before you spot it.

+1 for this. Advanced Maps widget is useless without it.

+1 for this. I'm having same problem. It's impossible to use without http restrictions ...

It seems that the map on the backend still does not work if you set restrictions.

UPDATE: Restrictions work if you use a different API key for geocoding and places in JetEngine settings. Then you can set restrictions on the Maps JS API key. In the explanations it reads that you can as well restrict the Geocoding & Places API key with IP address, but it did not work in my case ... don't know why
