Filter/Sort/Order by Custom Taxonomy JetEngine/JetSmartFilters #2604

Hello, I find myself in multiple instances wanting to be able to sort things by TAXONOMY TYPE. Not sort the actual children in the taxonomy. For example, I created three custom taxonomy types called props, characters, fashion for a custom post type.

In the listing grid for my custom post type, why can't I have the grid display order be by taxonomy TYPE. Like first it displays all characters, then props, then fashion. Why is there no umbrella for custom taxonomy?

Same with smartfilters - I can filter by one custom taxonomy only but what if I want to filter by all of the custom taxonomies created?

+1. This is really needed. I want to filter posts by custom met fields of custom taxonomy.

WP Gridbuilder says, this is not possible caused by the way Taxonomy is treated by wordpress. MetaBox has a solution to mirror taxonomy as metafield automatically as far as i know. Would make sense in this case. I'm sure Crocoblock team can achive this with a creative and solid solution. 👍

Hi, this plugin solved my problem: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-taxonomy-order-ne/ I reordered taxonomies by hand and WP Grid Builder cen take "terms order" ordering.
