CCT in jet engine is a great feature that few people know about:
Processing speed in the database
Adding separate tables for 1 website and their easy management
But there are drawbacks that this feature can not be used much:
Taxonomy (category & tags) and Custom taxonomy
Not only is taxonomy empty in the menu, it is not possible to add new content to the menu
Benefits of this feature:
Creating independent blogs in 1 site and database
Related content (in CCT)
Filtering the content with taxonomies (all types) with any need, taste and plugin
Yes, adding a field or Glossaries creates a similar feature, but in these cases it has a problem:
Category Father and child
Many categories & tags
Easy to add taxonomy)
Related content in single content (I do not understand the "Has Single Page" feature, and it is not very useful,)
What is needed, is a single for CCT, not in a WordPress post,
I ask myself this question again, why do I use CCT? Since it does not involve Wp-Post, and the processing speed is higher, so why go back to wp-post for singles? We need at least, all the features in wp-post for CCT
Using WordPress Taxonomy Bank (ie my custom content should be linked to Taxonomy WP_Post)
Benefits of this feature:
The connection between CCT and the default posts or store product
Example:
I have a blog for programming tutorials with categories and tags (C C ++ C # _ Java_PythonDelphi Fox Pro Visual Basic Perl_ RubyGolang PHP_CSS _HTML)
And I create a Custom Content Types to introduce an expert for these languages (such as: programmer, Developer, Supporter)
For example, when a training post for (css flex types) is visited, posts related to the post are displayed
Also in the new section, the experts related to this language (CSS) and the amount of expertise (programmer, developer, supporter) are displayed.
The user can see the expert information and go to its page for details or order or ...
Conclusion of this Part:Standalone taxonomy for CCT or using WordPress taxonomy bank (or both)
An essential feature. I can not believe why you have not added it yet or how you forgot it.
I could not filter the CCT archive with JetSmartFilters, only if glossary is used, the fillers are seen in the page builder, and their count is 0, and they are not displayed in front
Content can be exported, but not imported
CCT settings are not exported or imported
Report a problem or bug for CCT:
If we change the field type in the settings we set for category & tags, the selected fields in the content will have to be reset (this is terrible)
Once when I published the content, it had repeated about 10 times !!!
"Quick edit support" is not edited in Bulk actions
"screen options" do not exist in Dashboard> Archive (My Content). Needed for number of contents and temporary removal or display of columns, you do not really need the "Show in the admin columns" feature in CCT settings, all of this is configurable in "screen options"
I did not buy your plugins, I downloaded them from gpldl.com, but I wish I had the regular version
Thanks for the support
