In some cases, the user only needs to select one taxonomy term. A few examples:
When the store admin chooses a format for a book (one book can't be an EBook and a Paperback - that would be two separate books)
When the content writer chooses a post format (one post can't be a download and an article)
When the event manager chooses a destination (one event can't be in many locations)
When creating a Posts metafield, there is an option "allow multiple":
I would essentially like the same thing but when creating taxonomies ... here is what I envisage:
Why not use Radio Buttons For Taxonomies Plugin? (https://wordpress.org/plugins/radio-buttons-for-taxonomies/)
There is an existing plugin which fulfills this requirement (Radio Buttons for Taxonomies: https://wordpress.org/plugins/radio-buttons-for-taxonomies/) HOWEVER there is a compatibility issue. When creating a JetEngine metabox and setting display conditions to be a taxonomy term with the mentioned plugin enabled, the metabox will not always display. Therefore, I would like the option to allow choosing just one taxonomy term natively as part of the JetEngine plugin.
I use JetEngine to create custom taxonomies.

Thank you for your consideration :)
