Customize different custom field for each category/taxonomy of one custom post type (jet engine)

After talking with crocoblock support they suggested that I request this highly requested feature here.

So I'll explain what it is:

First of all I tell you that this functionality is already present in ACF and ACF pro and that it is too useful a function and therefore it must be mandatory on jet engine in my opinion.

Need to add the functionality that when I create a custom post type then down when I create meta fields there must be the need to create groups of meta fields and choose whether to insert them in general for the custom post type or only for one or more specific categories or taxonomies.

Now I will give you an example of why you need this thing and if my English is not understandable tell me that I will make you a short video that explains everything visually.

Here is the example:

I have a car rental website, I offer the rental of cars, scooters and boats on an island in Italy, so now I want to create a custom post type and call it "vehicles" So then I create the taxonomy "types of vehicles" which would be a bit like the categories of the articles, so I enter this taxonomy and create 3 types of vehicles: Cars, Scooters, Boats.

Now I create an archive page for each type of vehicle, therefore different according to the type of vehicle and then I create the page of the single vehicle, then 3 pages, single car, single scooter and single boat.

I have 20 cars, 20 scooters and 10 boats, cars, scooters and boats have different characteristics.

If I enter the meta fields directly on the custom post type "vehicles" the same characteristics will be the same for all types of vehicles and it is not a good thing.

So I want to create custom meta fields for each type of vehicle, therefore different for cars, different for scooters and different for boats.

So when I add a new vehicle, I select the taxonomy and based on the selected taxonomy (the type of vehicle in this case) the meta fields of that taxonomy that I have previously recorded will load.

So you have to create a way that when creating custom post types, in the meta field section it must be possible to choose each meta field if it is generic therefore for the entire custom post type or available only for one or more categories / taxonomies etc.

This would make your jet engine plugin more correct and perfect.

If in doubt, you can check it yourself by installing ACF as easily as possible.

I hope it is implemented incorrectly, so that I can use jet engine on all my websites and abandon acf and acf pro.

Also because I like the smart filter plugin and it goes well with jet engine, so I believe that you also have to make sure that this feature is compatible with smart filters and the whole system that surrounds jet engine.

Hello, why here no reply? This is the TOP priority upgrade for jetengine. This is the option request for all wordpress users.

When is this field type coming? It's critical for front end forms that create custom post types. ACF already has this. So technically, you could add an ACF field type & then we could get the taxonomy term field through ACF... but it seems cleaner to just create this field type.
