Inconsistent Results For DOI Query #351

When requesting a .bib file by DOI sometimes author is included and sometimes it is not. Example given:

In fact you can see this clearly by simply going to http://api.crossref.org/works/10.1097/TA.0000000000001245 and refreshing the page several times.

We've been seeing this at Dryad as well: results from "polite" servers seem to not have this problem, but results from impolite searches are inconsistently returning results without authors.
