Are the visual studio 6 project files available anywhere? I prefer working with VS6 and am slowly making headway creating projects from scratch.

The open-source Serious Engine was developed in newer VS from beginning. I don't recommend using VS6 because it's obsolete and doesn't have any important features missing from VS2013/VS2015.
