“My second main confusion is with regards to the authors’ effors to align their participants’ age and education levels to the 2018 US census estimates: First, I am left wondering why this is needed and why 2018 (vs. 2019)? Second, the paper has inconsistencies about which census data the authors used? On page 6, for example they say they want to align to 2018 data, but on page 12 in Table 1 summary they say their results align with 2019 US census data. Is this an error? If not, why the change in census data year?” — 2AC
