BOSH-release for Falcon #6

Is there any plan in the pipeline to create a BOSH-release for Falcon?

redhatrises commented 3 years ago

To date we've received a single documented request. Came in relatively recently through the CrowdStrike/VMWare partner team. Creating BOSH content /seems/ like a good idea. We're trying to gauge how many customers would benefit from the work and what customers would see as meaningful incremental deliverables. Current plan is to get Helm charts into the Rancher Partner program, get listed in Red Hat Certified Operators, and then tackle BOSH. That priority is driven solely by customer input.

Any help with understanding who needs BOSH and associated use cases would be very useful. For example size of the environment, desired workflow, expectations around support. We'd love to chat through these topics -- either here in the GitHub ticket, off-list in direct emails, or live/Zoom/etc.

Thanks @redhatrises for redirecting us!

@briannd81 for broader context, VMWare and CrowdStrike do have various partner agreements in place for shared access to software/tech, NDAs, etc. From here we're trying to understand what expected workflows could/should be, what version(s) to start developing on, etc. Any ideas are most welcome!

Dropping a note that the following repository may be a good starting point:
