Allow preservation of food by controlling temperature and light.
[ ] food placed in any vessel in the rootcellar will decay slower, based on the achieved temperature
[ ] rootcellar temperature is based on its relative depth, the measure is taken in comparison to the average groundlevel of the surrounding 30 blocks (radius 15). The temperature falls on a logarithmic scale, the optimal temperature can be achieved at 3-5 blocks below tempered areas, or 6-8 blocks below hotter areas.
[ ] a rootcellar only works as such if the floors are made up from natural rock; walls made from natural rock or any porous materials; the roof is at least 3-4 blocks thick and made up of any porous materials (dirt, sand, gravel)
[ ] the effects of a rootcellar are only applied to any tiles below average groundlevel AND below the entrance. Thus any opening (e.g. doors, a tunnel, ...) leading out of the area considered being the rootcellar, needs to be located above the cellar area (e.g. by building stairs)
[ ] the rootcellar needs to be devoid of any natural light, and below a lightlevel of 9 to prevent growing (see also grass)
