[feature request] support no root password #148

like decky launcher, can you support root without password? the wy decky launcher does it is prompt for confirmation then sets the root password temporarily then clears it again afterwards.

I don't think this is a good idea, please see #87 🙂

You can close this as a dupe of #87, I didn't see it. I seem to be in the minority but I really don't see why having no password set, setting a password automatically. Doing the j stall and then clearing the password again is such a big deal.

The steam deck has been bought by many if us that don't use Linux, and having to set root passwords for one off installs is strange and overly complicated. I have no idea what I even set that root to as it's been months ago, and I only needed it for 5 mins for your installation.
