I would also like to know. I just ran the recommended CU settings on 3.6, which sets a swap size and swappiness. Later I learned Valve enabled zram, which supposedly supercedes swap. Did I just disable zram by applying the CU recommended settings? Or are these independent?

My friend told me that zram would be given priority. If the zram is not enough, swap will continue to play a role based on the foundation again. So zram and swap can be set at the same time.
After the update to SteamOS 3.6.19 from 3.5.19, will CU's functions still work normally?
