Strange behaviour and errors #16

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install google-docs-fs
2. Create new file file_x (in local /root/, not in mounted folder)
3. Copy file_x from local /root/ to mounted folder /root/google/

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect a succesfull move of the file.
I get several errors:

IntranetServer:~# mv /root/file_x /root/google/
mv: preserving times for `/root/google/file_x': Function not implemented
mv: setting permissions for `/root/google/file_x': Function not implemented

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- Last version of google-docs-fs [beta4]
- Debian Lenny amd64
- Python 2.5
- Gdata 2.07

Please provide any additional information below.

Lot of other strange behaviour. When I create a directory directory_x in
the mounted google docs directory (in my case: /root/google/) and then
delete that just created directory, then suddenly a directory with that
name is created in the root of my filesystem (/directory_x is created).

I presume you're acting as the root user? I've never tested it doing this. Do
the
problems persist if you do this as a normal user?

I have same exact problem, under Ubuntu 11.04.

Additionally, sometimes the mv seems to work (no errors), however at inspection
you find out that the file at destination is nonexistent. So, the operation
amounts to a (silent) delete!

Ok, I mounted the directory with a -d flag, and here's the relevant info:

> "cp" mathfacts.pl gdocs/.
(gdocs is the directory the fs is mounted on)
