Question: Project Activity? #11

Hello,

I can't tell you how great it is to see someone working on Openbox. I've been using it since the project started, just after Blackbox died.

I wanted to ask, will you be quite active with this project's development?

Since Openbox is small, I'm not sure there is much in the way of bug fixing it needs, but if there are things that need constant looking after, I really hope this fork of yours will be active for many years to come.

THANKS

I'm not sure how your response was meant, in regards to how active this fork will be?

Sorry if you misunderstood me, I'm hoping someone is picking the project back up full time, keeping Openbox alive, in whatever it needs.

I personally don't see anything going on with Openbox, but with all the apps out there, panels, picom, various system libs, deps, X, etc, and Wayland, not sure how many bugs one might find, needing fixing, with all the latest updates in the Linux wold in the recent years...

hmm

Wayland would require a rewrite but this exists https://github.com/labwc/labwc

I don't care anything about Wayland, I was only talking about it and other updates in Linux.

I'm still trying to understand how active this project is going to be for Openbox? Are you now going to take over the Openbox project, with this fork?

THANKS
