Request 1: Show the publications pager menu at both the top and bottom of the publications list Currently if the Faculty Publications block is set to show "all" publications, a pager menu is shown at the bottom to navigate to additional publications. That makes sense but I suggest systematically repeating that pager menu at the top of the publications list for the following reasons: Immediately gives the visitor a rough sense of how many total publications. Provides visual feedback after a new page load when the visitor navigates to more publications beyond the first page. Currently it can be hard to tell that one set of publications has been replaced with another unless you look carefully before and after the page load. Makes it easier to jump to publications from a particular year if visitor's first guess of page number is incorrect.

Request 2: Paging faculty publications inside an expandable block's tab Please make paging for a Faculty Publications block more compatible within an Expandable block with tabs. Currently, the following scenario is problematic:

Expected A Faculty Publications block is set to show "all" publications and the faculty member has > 25 publications. The Faculty Publications block sits inside an expandable tab that does not default to "open". Visitor selects the tab. The page's URL segment will update to something like pageurl#tabname-21. Faculty publications are shown in the tab. Visitor then selects another faculty publications page using the pager menu at the bottom of the publications block. Unexpected The next page load has a page URL segment of pageurl?page=2 The expected tab for publications (#tabname-21) does not remain open. The visitor will have to re-select the proper tab to see the additional publications. The fix? The new page URL segment could be something like pageurl?page=2#tabname-21 UI issues If visitor selects a different tab then returns to the publications tab, it needs to be clear which publication page is active… especially if it isn't the default first publications page. The easiest solution might be to repeat the publications pager menu at the top of the publication list as outlined in my request #2 above. A top pager menu would give the needed visual feedback.

Thanks for your help and consideration,
