System Information

• Operating System (Including distribution name and version number); Windows Server 2022
• AMP version and build date (Always use the version number, 'latest' is not valid!): Currently running version2.5.0.12 - 20240531.1
• Which AMP release stream you're using (Mainline, Nightly or FastTrack): Mainline

I confirm:

• [x] that I have searched for an existing bug report for this issue.
• [x] that I am using the latest available version of AMP.
• [x] that my operating system is up-to-date.

Symptoms

• What are you trying to do? Use task Check for available updates via SteamCMD
• What are you expecting to happen? have a Trigger update when an update is found
• What is actually happening? ('Nothing' is not an acceptable answer!) It is not finding any updates even when a mod has been updated for over 1 hour

Reproduction

Run a trigger set to every 20 minutes with the task Check for available updates via SteamCMD

Have an update that has been pushed to steam

Have a trigger set to An update is available via SteamCMD with a task to send a message or update to know if its been triggered

Have a trigger set to An update is NOT available via SteamCMD with a task to send a message stating no update has been found

After 20 minutes you should get a message about an update being available or not

Having the same issue but on Linux. Nothing happens even if I trigger it by hand. Nothing can be found in the logs. @MadCappedBeef Have you found any solution?

no sorry @rezor92, I still haven't found a solution to this, we've updated to the version that stated it fixed this issue and still no luck.

Are there specific games you're trying this for?

Tried it for V-Rising and Valheim, both with the same result. I have tried to recreate the instance which led to the same outcome. I remember there was some output in the AMP_Log some versions ago.

CORRECTION VRising seems to work. I've found the log I mentioned earlier: [05:09:00] [steamcmdplugin Info/8154] : Checked updates for 1829350 - current build is 14779468 - latest build is 14779468
