Check for available updates via SteamCMD not finding updates #1109

System Information

I confirm:

Symptoms

Reproduction

Run a trigger set to every 20 minutes with the task Check for available updates via SteamCMD

Have an update that has been pushed to steam

Have a trigger set to An update is available via SteamCMD with a task to send a message or update to know if its been triggered

Have a trigger set to An update is NOT available via SteamCMD with a task to send a message stating no update has been found

After 20 minutes you should get a message about an update being available or not

Having the same issue but on Linux. Nothing happens even if I trigger it by hand. Nothing can be found in the logs. @MadCappedBeef Have you found any solution?

no sorry @rezor92, I still haven't found a solution to this, we've updated to the version that stated it fixed this issue and still no luck.

I've updated the version we are on in the main post

Are there specific games you're trying this for?

Tried it for V-Rising and Valheim, both with the same result. I have tried to recreate the instance which led to the same outcome. I remember there was some output in the AMP_Log some versions ago. image

CORRECTION VRising seems to work. I've found the log I mentioned earlier: [05:09:00] [steamcmdplugin Info/8154] : Checked updates for 1829350 - current build is 14779468 - latest build is 14779468
