What's really happening is a little different, but I understand your inconvenience.
Speed stays the same, but distance in pixels increases with formatting changes, meaning it takes longer to reach the destination, making it necessary to increase speed proportionally to prevent ETA from increasing. If I understand correctly, you want the time that it takes to read a script to remain constant irregardless of formatting.
Bug Description If you change the font size, line height, the speed is changed. This is a usability error. You need to change it, when you use another teleprompter, sit or stand another distance from your monitor etc. But then you need to change each time your base speed.

Steps to Reproduce
Expected behavior Speed is independent of the visual display options. Is the same on all monitors and all settings. ...
