There are already plans to de-couple the prompter from the editor without breaking the ability to use the editor as a prompter. In "decoupled mode" this feature wouldn't be necessary unless the person attempts to edit while prompting and in that case having a hovering toolbox could also be an option. Nevertheless, the current mode, where the prompter and the editor are the same, needs to continue to be supported because mobile devices can only display one window at a time, meaning it would be good to have this option to hide the toolbar and it is only a matter of finding a good place to position this setting.
