Compile service slow #252

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the default new document.
2. Click compile > compile.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to run in about 5 seconds. Instead, it took almost a minute. For my
main document, which is much longer, it hasn't finished in minutes. I believe
that the compiler service has slowed or stopped.

It is 10:25 AM East Coast Time, and the date is 4/25/2011. If it matter, I'm
using Firefox on OS X.

I *always* have the same problem, and end up using an external online compiler.
But lately even one-page documents fail to compile in 30 seconds and result in
an error (timeout) message.

same here,
unended compilations
annoying: only reason for me not to be able to use it as a powerful tex editor
wysiwyg like

Did someone changed something? It seems quite fast for me right now.
