No output from PDF generated source

I have just tried running latex-lab with a simple LaTeX document.  I get a 
message saying "no output was generated" after trying to compile my initial 
template document, however looking at the compiler output, it appears my 
document was generated (see below).  Is there something I'm doing wrong?  Is 
there some way to avoid this error?  Does it have to do with expecting PDF 
output?
