Howdy devs! The n64 version of animal crossing also contains the NES emulator! I was wondering if you guys can ad an option to export to an N64 memory pak file? If you already know of a tool that can do this, could you link me to it? Thanks!

This is actually being worked on. See this video and its comments https://youtu.be/A5YdD1pYzes

In fact, it's actually possible to, with either a somewhat-niche Datel Mempack that was 16x the size of a regular Mempack, or custom hardware, to load bigger games than the 24K Ice Climber. Up to 1.94MiB is possible, and you can buy 2MiB chips for cheap. Someone else has been working on filesystem support for oversized Mempacks, and additionally, you can use oversized easier on iQue (assuming you account for how THAT works differently to the N64 in regards to Mempacks), because the data is on the NAND directly like the game and regular save. Oh and the Arbitrary Code Execution exploit in the NES emulator exists on the N64 and iQue versions of AC. Oh and the best part of this is that AC on iQue is quite privileged.

Oh and 1.94MiB is around the size of certain Gamecube memory card sizes, I think the 251-block one.

There's been quite a lot of good news recently in the N64 mempack scene right now. Ares is soon to support oversized mempacks.
