5XXX XDK Samples: Font renders on Nvidia and AMD, but not on Intel

Something I just noticed whilst testing on a device with Intel graphics is that any 5XXX Samples don't render font at all. However, when I have been testing on my main PC with Nvidia, the font renders fine for almost all samples still... I am not sure about AMD; somebody needs to confirm whether or not it works on there also.

I'd imagine this is something important and worth looking into, so I'm just opening an issue to make note of it.

It's been known for a long time that quite a few titles have issues with anything non-NVIDIA: Smashing Drive for example has a ton of missing graphics if you use either Intel or AMD hardware, making it completely unplayable.

Hopefully, something like APITrace can shed some light on the issue.

Well with source of sample you can find out what is using for text rendering. Update 1: AMD 5830 results:

@Voxel9 which Intel chipset did you experience the issue with? Hopefully I have something I can reproduce with... Also I noticed that your Intel and NVIDIA screenshots both use a different build of the emulator?

I'll test this with intel Core i5-8250U (UHD Graphics 620) later today.

@LukeUsher Sorry, yeah, they're different builds in the screenshot, but I definitely have compared one build across both devices at one point, just must have not realized enough when taking screenshots. Anyway, it's Intel HD Graphics 405 Braswell.
