Description

I am seriously looking for this game to get started, as I have uncovered numerous unused content hidden within the game files. If anyone has any idea on how to get the game to run, (this game was originally developed for pc and has files from the pc version left in the game still) It would be revoloutionary. I want to rework the game into playing better, mod the graphics, etc. I know how to do all of these things, besides getting the game to start passed the menu.

What happens during emulation: The game runs the menus flawlessly, the only problem being that the main title menu "STAKE" texture has a black background.

None previously reported. **Current behavior:**

Game crashes when starting the actual levels. depending on the level, ambience of the level is sometimes heard for a second before it crashes after failing to load/start.

Additional Information

I have used every single configuration possible in the settings. The game never goes past the menus, no matter what is used. In a previous version of CXBX from 2018, I was able to get the game to get stuck in the loading screen for a level because of the old options in CXBX that are now gone.

I can supply the files of the game if needed for testing if that would help including the XBE and everything

We don't want those.

This repository is for tracking game compatibility. It's not a forum. Go to the Discord server for that.

All I'm going to say is I'm hoping the creator of the emulator sees this and acknowledges my desire for this game to work further. Idk why you keep marking my comments as off topic when its relating to the game and the fact that it doesn't run the actual levels.

@Reclaimer343 Because your comments don't help make the game more compatible. Once again, this issue tracker is not meant for discussing what games you want to be made compatible. Generally developers don't work on a game just because one person wants it.

Okay. I got it. Well, I'm the first person in existence to have looked into this games files and found the beta content that is inside it. So, my plan is to try to modify the game to include the unused content. But if it doesn't work, I'll have to figure it out if nobody can push for this besides me, lol.
