i'm just thinking which license I wanna use. Github has no good templates for creative commons licenses. Ideally someone can use it for free if they don't make money, but if they make money with the icons I'd love them to share the love. Do you have any suggestions?
Some icon sets use Creative Commons licenses with attribution, which I think solves that issue.
CC-BY-4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) is quite popular. Few sets that use it:
I think that solves issue of commercial use because even commercial uses must provide attribution, so selling icons would be pointless. Not that it matters because most of them unfortunately don't even care about licenses, so they'll be doing their stuff regardless of license.

I have to think how to best add it on the pepicons.com website.
This is a very cool icon set, thanks a lot for making it. However it does not have a license, making it unusable in open source projects. Can you please add an open source license?
