I changed my (french) mobile operator (Orange to Bouygues Telecom (BT)).
Since I'm with BT, I can't receive or send MMS.
APNs seem good (I tried many configurations found on the web) and it works with stock ROMs.
It fails with RC1.5 and 11.11.11 versions, even after wipes.
