Usb debugging Issue #93

Hi everyone....today i had a problem with my defy. First my usb debugging mode was disabled but then I just enabled it(without any restarts). When I got into cmd and taped " adb devices" nothing was found although I had the Usb debugging mode on. I found out that you need to restart your defy with debugging mode on to make it work again.

Hope it helps for people like me :D

So the problem is:

Is that about right? If yes, please try whether the issue persists with a current nightly. If it persists, I need to know which USB mode you selected.

Hi, I have the same issue: when I connect my Defy to usb it is recognized by computer for the first time, then I need to reboot the phone to connect it. Not even usb charging - only the charge LED is lighting up. Sometimes computer recognize the phone as "usb unknown device". This issue seems to persist with USB Debugging option enabled. Tried with stable RC1.5 and latest nightly. With official firmware (2.2.2, 2.3.4) there is no such problem.

-Yes, the USB is connected with phone's debugging ON and even then it is not recognized by adb as a device. -Before pluging the phone into USB port, I had powered the phone with USB Debugging OFF. It seems that it recognizes phone's Debugging (ON or OFF) depending how it is ( ON or OFF before rebooting the Android).
