[From MOOC] RatingPicker button text renders incorrectly #35

For some reason, the button text renders as

... It's weird, obviously, but definitely related either to font-feature support, or (worse) problem in kerning glyphs. Clearly `ffi` kern together for legibility, but in this case they essentially give up and don't render at all.
