Remove DragonAPI

aetherpirate commented 8 years ago

For testing? Or as a permanent solution? I also have RotaryCraft, ReactorCraft, and ElectriciCraft which need DragonAPI

spannerman79 commented 8 years ago

Permanent. None of those work with Thermos. As to why - search this and other issue trackers.

aetherpirate commented 8 years ago

Just read a few threads. That's a shame, I really like his mods. Maybe someday DragonAPI and Thermos can work together.

spannerman79 commented 8 years ago

As do I but in life not everything goes as what we want.

Time6628 commented 8 years ago

Actually, in the newer versions of DragonAPI he added Cauldron/Thermos support. https://github.com/ReikaKalseki/DragonAPI/commit/82a500a1befc7033e3d834b488900a9fb6858848

aetherpirate commented 8 years ago

That is good news.

I removed all Reika's mods including DragonAPI and I am still having a similar issue. No crash on server, but client times out while working on windmill.

Latest log attached. latest.txt

Your server is stalling.

aetherpirate commented 8 years ago

Any idea why? Its a new map with just me connected. Not much built yet. I'll try running warmroast while playing and see what comes of it.

Ok have a capture:

warmroast

Time6628 commented 8 years ago

What is your timeout time in spigot.yml?

aetherpirate commented 8 years ago

timeout-time: 90

Time6628 commented 8 years ago

Set that to 900 or more.

aetherpirate commented 8 years ago

Done. Re-launching and testing.

bookerthegeek commented 8 years ago

@spannerman79 they do work with thermos. Specifically because I am running them together.

Please be more carefully of spreading disinformation.

aetherpirate commented 8 years ago

timeout time is now 900

Same result. As soon as I place another windmill block down, I timeout about 5 seconds later. When I re-join, it does not show that I placed anything. \ If I place blocks slowly, I can gradually add to it. It still times out, but some of new blocks are present upon re-logging in.**

If I do not attempt to build it, I can play normally.

The windmill is a multiblock, I am trying to make the max size of 17 x 17. It only forms when complete.

Oddly, this issue did not begin right away, it was only after the incomplete windmill exceeded a certain size.

I noticed I cannot remove blocks either.

Looking at your warm roast, ancient warfare is calling a method over and over causing the server to stall.
