Implementing the ability for users to satisfy buy/sell orders set for FUTURE blocks would add large amounts of liquidity to stable assets. It would allow for only 1:1 collateral backing for collateral-based asset trading, as future volatility is inherently built into the current market state.
To ensure fair play, Futures orders could settle at any time, but the relevant assets would be "unlocked" or "unfrozen" at their designated block number.
The futures market would allow for more price stability, while simultaneously providing an even freer market.
