The columns can be resized at run time, but not at design time. Because I'd like to put the component in a relatively narrow sidebar, any white space reduces real data displayed by default on load.

A way to set the column widths when editing the page and configuring the component so that the configured widths are used whenever the page with the component loads.

Manual resizing at run time, but usability is significantly reduced
