Emergency Contact behaviours and functionality

The UG is unclear regarding EmergencyContacts behaviour. When I try to create a contact with the tag EmergencyContacts, it is created.

However this emergency contact acts like a normal contact. It can be edited

and deleted

It is stated in the UG that only pre-installed emergency contacts cannot be deleted or edited:

The user is allowed to add, edit, and delete other emergency contacts.
