On cultural search page, display "source" under "further information" #549

Until we get detailed definitions into d-place, could we display the "source" for each variable under "further information" (see bibtex tags for sources in column "source" in VarList file) ?

So it would look something like this: Choose a database >> SCCS Choose a topic >> Childhood Choose a variable >> Magical Protectiveness Applied to Parents and Child

Then you would see:

Further information: Barry, H., & Paxson, L. M. (1971). Infancy and early childhood: Cross-cultural codes 2. Ethnology, 10(4), 466-508.

And the codes for selection...

thoughts?

In case this is a good short-term solution, here is a file linking bibtex tags to full APA citations (though I realize you can write a line of code to make the bibtex > APA conversion happen, so probably totally unnecessary): https://www.dropbox.com/s/3zl59t03jixvpm1/SCCS_variable_sources_bibtex_to_APA.csv?dl=0

I just realized that I could just put the APA reference in the "variable definition" field and it would then display under "further information" automatically. Shall I do this, or is it worth adding a separate line so the reference will always appear under 'further info' (even once we have a sentence or two of text describing/defining the variable).

@bibiko Ok, I've updated the VariableList file, so that "VarDefinition" includes the reference with code explanations in APA format. Could you read in this new file, and make sure the "VarDefinition" info shows up under "Further information" after users select a Cultural Variable? Thank you! [Note, I also updated spelling of keywords Labour and Life Cycle in this file].

@kirbykat what do you mean by "uploaded"? The authoritative location for the D-PLACE data (at least for whatever goes into the web app) is https://github.com/D-PLACE/dplace-data So the updates would need to be pushed there.

@xrotwang can you merge this new file into GitHub? I'll update the online site this night since I do not know if someone needs this site today for the conference (updating the database takes ~8mins)

@xrotwang Hi, sorry I need a new tutorial on how to merge new CSV files etc. into the repository. I'll ask Simon when we have a few minutes. The file is in the shared dropbox folder. @Bibiko If it takes 8 min, we will all be in a morning plenary talk until ~10 am. Thank you both!
