- Contains NBI Geometry information (aperture, sources, divergences, focal lengths), Beam Energy, Beam Power, Beam Current Fractions, Beam Ion mass and charge
- Charge Exchange Schema
- Contains Geometry information, ion mass, ion charge, unshifted wavelength
- Missing sigma-pi ratio and spot size
- Core Profiles Schema
- Contains all relevant profiles and also flux average electric field
- Edge Profiles Schema
- Contains profiles and neutral density profiles including neutral particle charge states
- Equilibrium Schema
- Contains poloidal flux, Bfield components (Br,Bt,Bz)
- Distributions Schema
- Contains fast ion mass, charge, gyro-center or full-orbit, Monte Carlo Markers, 2D fast-ion density
Only things missing I can see is the descriptions for Neutral Particle Analyzers and the aforementioned sigma-pi ratio and LOS spot size
IMAS should contain all the relevant information needed for a FIDASIM run.
This issue is just to keep track of what needs to be done.
We will probably use the python library OMAS to interface with the IMAS structure.
