Starting EMANE 0.9.2 session causes kernel panic #269

Somehow this combination causes a kernel panic:
- Ubuntu 14.04.1 x86_64 with Linux 3.13.0-35-generic kernel
- CORE / EMANE 0.9.2
- Windows 7 running within VirtualBox 4.3.18

Upon starting an EMANE 0.9.2 session (e.g. use emane80211.py example script), 
or when tearing it down, the kernel panics.

Without VirtualBox running, there is no crash.
