Consider having Glassworkers be able to build Streetlamps, perhaps on one of the Mechanics tables or some other station. Not only would it look appropriate theme-wise for that stage in the game, but it could also serve as an early (though expensive) form of electrical power transmission for the capital, rather than using wood lamps meant for tables.
Both Copper Wiring and Light Bulbs are now available once Mechanics is out, as opposed to after Electronics, so perhaps the only other change would be to switch its Steel Bar cost with Iron Bars.
Glassworkers are still lacking in things to build, which this adjustment would help, and also the current place of Streetlamps on the Robotics Assembly Line seems a bit awkward, alongside the more modern-looking Street Lights. Ideally, Streetlamps would eventually get upgraded to Modern Street Lights.
This actually might end up being the major consumer of power from Steam Engines in the "mid game" before Industry. Waste Filters barely use power, and there usually aren't a lot of Rolling Mills active...
