It's currently not easy to distinguish between notification when there are new messages or there's an issue connecting to the phone
This icon is currently shown whenever WhatsApp desktop cannot reach the phone, and at a glance (especially on high DPI screen) the difference between new message notification (shown as 1) and error notification (shown as !) is not noticeable.
Even in the above image, I still can't tell whether it's a 1 or an ! and the actual tray icon in smaller than this image.
Describe the solution you'd like
Probably change the overlay color to orange or yellow, so it's easier to differentiate
Describe alternatives you've considered
It would be a lot better if you can change the WhatsApp tray icon color entirely so it's easier to notice but I guess that'd be asking too much

The phone connectivity error is when WhatsApp desktop unable to reach the phone, and for some unknown reason it happens to me a lot lately so it's getting confusing when I have an alert in WhatsAppTray
