Another Issue with whatsapp being gone from desktop to ms store #158

Okay so I turned on the computer today and saw whatsapp icon is gray and the name is now WhatsApp (Outdated). I think they updated the app to make it not work or changed some directory but whatsapp tray does not work anymore even with desktop app. If I double click whatsapptray it does open whatsapp but the whatsapptray does not open itself meaning I cannot minimise or anything which comes with installing the tray app and its just normal whatspp app opening. Any suggestions?

Okay I simply went to this directory and removed all but the lowest version folder(s) leaving "app-2.2310.5". Then I removed update.exe and also squirrel.exe. Whatsapptray works again now.
