Whatsapp closing even with "Close to tray" enabled.

Hello!

When I click on the X to minimize to tray sometimes Whatsapp closes but WhatsappTray is still running. If I try to launch again WhatsappTray it won't launch and I need to kill process.

I'm running windows 10 1903. WhatsappTray Version 1.4.3

Same issue. Seems to work after closing WhatsApp the first time but if you then click the tray icon to bring up WhatsApp again and then close it again, it actually closes, and the tray icon doesn't reappear. The process has to be killed.

Hello, same issue. However, only intermittently and inconsistently (usually after a period of idling however). I can also open WhatsApp without problem afterwards (no need to kill process).

Very strange. I can not reprduce it. Do you do anything special or just a normal click? Could you please try the following debugversion, which has more debug output for the MouseProc. Debug.zip If it happens post log again.

Did you do any modifications that affect the size of the close-button? My understanding is that the button of Whatsapp is not a standard-button but a electron-spezial, which makes it harder to detect. For this reason i hardcoded the size of the x-button Mine looks like that:

Ok i think i understand the problem now. Your Titlebar must be bigger then mine. This is probably due to scaling-option in windows-settings: I have it on 100% but my guess it yours is diffrent.

Can you confirm that?

I try to find a way to adjust to this setting.

Saw the comment above. I have two monitors, one 24 "1920 * 1080, the second one I bought recently in July, 27" 4K, this is now the main monitor. I checked that if you expand Whatsup tray on a FullHD monitor, then there is no problem, it does not close when minimized. The problem manifests itself on a 4K monitor. Scaling is set to 175%

Ok i could reproduce that. The closebutton seems to be a little bit bigger when maximized :man_facepalming: Im not sure jet how i will fix that, maybe i will make the area always bigger or handle this special case. Thanks anyway for the feedback

Are you sure that that are the correct logs? It looks like as if you are using alt + f4 a buch of times But i do not see any mouseclicks
