Hi. It seems the chocolatey package for Whatsapp Tray was abandoned by the mantainer (the last update is from more than 2 years ago).
Would it be possible for you to pick it up, please? Coupled with the "Choco Upgrade All" task you could set it up to auto-update daily or at every startup or something, so this would offer at least a decent workaround to issue #60 as well.
