Current state of research papers.
Several online research paper repositories, e.g. arxiv, IEEE Xplore, ACM, etc.
Most of them have few interactive features. They are more of a traditional website that is used to display information to internet users.
Often you need to use separate tools to do things like saving a paper (bookmark from browsers), making comments/asking questions (stackoverflow) and making discussion sessions with your peers (calendar), etc.
The Journal Club.
just to highlight some other features
we have over __ research papers of various catalgories so far, and we are importing more.
we use an ego graph to collectively display all the relationships that a paper has with other assets, such as a venue, code repo and datasets. Its purpose is to help people understand the paper without looking into details of the paper.
we have clubs that are collections of users who share their interest in a particular paper or papers, who want to meet up for more discussions. If you are looking for networking opportunities or simply want to know more about the paper, this is a feature for you.
we are constantly improving and looking to add more useful features in the future.
